You may be wondering who is behind Getting Artsy, so let me share a little about myself.
HI, I'MĀ LISA
I've always enjoyed making arts & crafts from a young age. FromĀ resin to glass lampworking to acrylic painting, I enjoy a wide variety of artforms.Ā I have 10 years experience teaching art classes to thousands of people. I try to make art approachable for the absolute beginner & have a laid-back, patient teaching style.
MY STORY

In 2015, I opened up a Paint & Sip studio in Yuma, AZ called The Artsy Fartsy Studio. We are in our 10th year of operation. It has grown into a wonderful art studio over the years. It started as a place for canvas painting and has evolved into paint your own pottery, resin, clay, wreaths, knitting, glass fusing... and the list goes on.Ā Ā
WHY START A MEMBERSHIP?

In 2020, when everything shut down, we had to pivot to online classes to stay afloat. Ever since then, customers have been asking if we still offer online instruction. Now in 2025, with a toddler & another on the way, I think it is time to try it again! Getting Artsy is an extension of our current offerings in our local studio. Hope you'll join in on the fun!
